Man arrested after holding tram passengers at knifepoint in Melbourne

The person allegedly began threatening passengers when he was unable to go away, grabbing one lady by the top and holding her at knifepoint earlier than shouting that he would “kill” her together with others on the tram. 

In video footage taken by a passenger, he can be heard telling the motive force to “open the door”, earlier than telling police to shoot him in the event that they “needed them [the passengers] to reside.”
