A jail guard who was on responsibility when a convicted assassin escaped from a Pennsylvania jail greater than per week in the past has been fired, officers stated Friday.
The jail guard, who was not recognized, was an 18-year veteran and was fired Thursday, a Chester County spokesperson confirmed to NBC Information.
Danelo Cavalcante, 34, escaped from the Chester County Jail in Pocopson Township on Aug. 31. About 400 regulation enforcement personnel are aiding within the seek for him, authorities stated on Friday.
