Barclays has agreed to purchase the retail banking arm of Tesco Financial institution, together with buying its roughly 2,800 employees, it has introduced.
It’ll pay round £600m for Tesco Financial institution’s buyer deposits and loans, in addition to the flexibility to supply Tesco-branded bank cards and loans.
Barclays mentioned the takeover is a “additional demonstration of the funding we proceed to make in our UK shopper enterprise”.
Chief government C.S.
