President Bola Tinubu has authorized the reconstitution of the Nationwide Stakeholders’ Working Group (NSWG) for the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), based on an announcement from the workplace of the Secretary to the Authorities of the Federation (SGF).
The spokesperson for Secretary to the Authorities of the Federation, Segun Imohiosen, disclosed this in an announcement on Monday.
Imohiosen mentioned the NSWG, which has the Secretary to the Authorities of the Federation (SGF), Sen. George Akume, as Chairman, consists of the next members:
The NSWG members embody the Government Chairman of the Federal Inland Income Service (FIRS), Zacch Adedeji and the Group Chief Government Officer of the NNPC Ltd Mele Kyari.
Different members of the NSW are Oghenegwueke Ajafia, consultant of the Oil Producers Commerce Part, Lagos Chamber of Commerce (OPTS); Dele Ayanleke, President of the Miners Affiliation of Nigeria; and Engr. (Mrs.) Nkechi Isigwe, consultant of Girls/Geo-scientists.
Different embody Comrade Williams Apkoreha, President of NUPENG; Barr. Musa Abdullahi Lawan, consultant of the North-West Zone; Abubakar Mu’azu, consultant of the North-East Zone; Amb. Matthew Sunday Adoli, consultant of the North-Central Zone; Olasupo Abdel-Jeleel Taiwo, consultant of the South-West Zone; Chief Israel Ikechukwu Ikwuegbu, consultant of the South-East Zone; Dr. Stephen Leo Akpan, consultant of the South-South Zone; and Dr. Orji Ogbonnaya Orji is Secretary to the NSWG.
The inauguration of the board can be introduced sooner or later, Imohiosen added.
