the Akkuyu NPP in Mersin, Türkiye has reached the stage of
commissioning on the first energy unit, stated Denis Sezemin, director
of building and manufacturing group of Akkuyu Nuclear JSC,
Pattern stories.
Based on him, the primary energy unit is deliberate to be put into
operation in April 2025.
“We acquired a license for the development of the primary energy
unit in April 2018, so the commissioning date of the primary energy
unit is presumably April 2025. On the first block, a lot of the major
building and set up work has been accomplished,
commissioning of all gear and techniques is underway,” he
stated.
He famous that “the work is being carried out in full accordance
with the accredited schedule.”
