The Inspector Basic of Police, Usman Baba, has recommended a police officer in Kano, SP Daniel Amah, for rejecting a 200,000-dollar bribe.
The Public Relations Officer, Kano State Command, SP Abdullahi Haruna-Kiyawa, disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday in Kano.
He stated {that a} commendation letter signed by the I-G was offered to Amah by the Appearing Commissioner of Police within the state, DCP Abubakar Zubairu.
He stated that “Amah was extremely recommended for sustaining excellent glorious work, unusual focus, dedication to obligation and exhibition of sound professionalism.
“Resulting in the arrest and prosecution of 1 Ali Zaki and a few law enforcement officials in a case of an armed theft involving the sum of N320.5 million and in addition rejecting 200,000 {dollars} provided to him as a bribe.”
