The Vice Chancellor of the establishment, Prof. Samuel Aje, disclosed this whereas talking with journalists on the twelfth convocation ceremony of the college.
Based on the vice chancellor, who gave the breakdown of the graduating college students, “out of the 467 graduating college students, 30 bagged top quality, whereas 242 shall be awarded second class higher, 152 received second class decrease and 19 graduated with third class honours.”
He added, “On December 8, 2022, we will be presenting 96 graduates of Medical Laboratory Science to Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria for registration as medical laboratory scientists. This shall be our ninth induction ceremony.
“We will equally be presenting 114 graduate nurses to the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria for induction as registered nurses and registered midwives.”
Aje additionally acknowledged that the governing council of the establishment had granted 50 per cent tuition scholarship for UTME and direct entry candidates in engineering programmes.
“A complete variety of 893 college students have benefitted from this tuition free association since inception in 2021. Our gratitude equally goes to the governing council for granting 50 per cent tuition scholarship for UTME and Direct Entry candidates in engineering programmes,” he disclosed.
The don additionally disclosed that the plan was on prime gear in the direction of establishing a School of Aviation, with an airstrip inside the college following the accreditation of programmes by the Nationwide Universities Fee.
