Refund my nomination charge, ex-aspirant tells LP

An aggrieved aspirant for the Home of Representatives, Fagge Federal Constituency, Kano, Hon Osita Nwankwo, on Monday demanded for the refund of his N500,000 nomination charge paid to the management of Labour Celebration to contest the primaries, because the slot had been allotted to a different aspirant.

In line with him, this adopted the refusal of the Labour Celebration management to supply him the ticket to characterize Fagge Constituency, Kano on the Nationwide Meeting, attributable to  his failure to pay the N.5 million, requested by the LP management for the ticket

“I paid the stated quantity to the Labour Celebration’s Account, quantity: 1021575052, with UBA and 20634382, with similar UBA on July 6, 2022, representing N400, 000 for nomination charge paid on to the social gathering’s account and N100, 000 as waiver, since I used to be not a member of the social gathering earlier than the nomination. I paid N100, 000 into the authorized adviser’s account, with similar UBA, bringing the overall sum to N500, 000, with documentary proof of cost.”
