Yusuf Babangida, a member of the Kano State Home of Meeting, representing Gwale Native Authorities on the State Home of Meeting, has rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the New Nigeria Folks Social gathering, (NNPP).
Mr Babangida was a high political ally of the NNPP’s presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Mr Babangida, in a resignation letter dated 7 January to the NNPP chairman in Sani Mainagge ward, in Gwale Native Authorities Space, mentioned he was resigning from the social gathering because of outright disregard for inner democracy within the NNPP.
Mr Babangida mentioned the NNPP has suffocated “all democratic beliefs upon which my political journey has been anchored.
“The supremacy of particular person whims and belligerence over and above stakeholders consensus.

He was welcomed again to the APC by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, who acquired him on the Kano State’s Authorities Home.
