A Riverside County sheriff’s deputy was killed Monday in an off-duty crash whereas using a bike in Riverside, based on authorities.
Deputy Andrew Davidson, 23, was using a Yamaha motorbike round 8:30 a.m. when the crash occurred on Van Buren Boulevard close to Garfield Avenue, the Riverside Police Division posted on Fb. A Toyota Camry pushed by a 66-year-old man collided with Davidson’s motorbike, based on police.
Davidson was taken to a hospital, the place he was pronounced lifeless, police stated.
The person within the sedan was taken to a hospital for minor accidents, based on police.
Davidson joined the Sheriff’s Division in March 2022 and was assigned to the Perris station, police stated.

Davidson is no less than the third Riverside County deputy to have died since December.
