President Biden and first girl Jill Biden had been evacuated from their seaside home in Rehoboth Seashore, Del., after a small aircraft entered restricted airspace close by.
They’ve since safely returned with no precise risk obvious, in response to the White Home.
“A small personal aircraft entered restricted airspace, all indications are by mistake, and precautionary measures had been taken. There was no risk to the President or his household,” a White Home official advised the touring press pool.
Anthony Guglielmi, chief of communications for the U.S. Secret Service, additionally stated the plane entered the restricted airspace over Rehoboth by mistake.
“The plane was instantly escorted out of the restricted airspace,” he stated in an announcement. “Preliminary investigation reveals the pilot was not on the right radio channel, was not following the NOTAMS (Discover to Airmen) that had been filed and was not following revealed flight steering. The US Secret Service shall be interviewing the pilot.”
