SNP MP Alison Thewliss has introduced she is going to throw her hat into the ring to be the celebration’s subsequent Westminster chief.
Ms Thewliss introduced the information on Twitter on Saturday night, saying she can be a “clear distinction” to “two males shouting at one another throughout the dispatch field”.
She has been an MP for Glasgow Central since 2015 when she unseated present Scottish Labour chief, Anas Sarwar.
Ms Thewliss wrote: “I’ve been working for independence for over half my life. Scotland is nearer to reaching that now now than ever earlier than.
“The Westminster group wants a frontrunner who can construct on Ian Blackford’s achievements and exhibit that independence, removed from being summary, is the choice to Brexit, the cost-of-living disaster and Tory austerity.”
