He defined that votes garnered by every candidate on the rerun election could be added to the votes scored by the candidates throughout the March 18 2023 elections to declare the winner of the state constituency seat on the Meeting.
Mr Imam, subsequently, stated that Mr Omadefu of APC scored 8,069 votes to defeat his closest rival, Osheka of PDP who polled 7, 917 votes.
“Consequently, Mohammed Omadefu of APC having scored the very best variety of votes, is hereby declared the winner and returned elected,” he stated.
