ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – After the heavy rain in North Texas final week, the town of Arlington mentioned that it is chargeable for a sanitary sewer overflow.
Based on a launch, there was a discharge of about 102,000 gallons of wastewater into Rush Creek in south Arlington early Saturday morning.
The overflow didn’t have an effect on the town’s consuming water.
Because of the heavy rain, a sewer manhole collapsed alongside the banks of Rush Creek, east of Edge Creek Lane and West Bardin Highway. This collapse precipitated a launch of wastewater from a 12-inch sanitary sewer line.
The leak has been totally repaired, the town mentioned.
