Vietnam-based shipowner and fleet administration agency Asia Pacific Delivery (ASP) has positioned an order with Guangzhou Shipyard Worldwide (GSI) in China for 2 methanol dual-fuel MR oil tankers.
The contract for the order was signed throughout the Posidonia 2024 in Athens, Greece. No monetary particulars of the deal have been revealed.
The tankers can have a complete size of 182.99 meters, a moulded width of 32 meters, a structural draft of 11 meters, and a pace of 14.5 knots beneath the designed draft.
It’s geared up with a methanol dual-fuel energy system, meets the IMO Tier III emission normal, and the EEDI reaches the necessities of the third stage.
ASP has a fleet of 20 vessels, 18 of that are owned and include bulk carriers, gasoline carriers, basic cargo ships, and tankers.
