Wheat Farmers Affiliation of Nigeria (WFAN), Bauchi State department, has urged 2021/2022 dry season farmers that obtained loans underneath the Central Financial institution of Nigeria’s (CBN) Anchor Debtors’ Programme to pay again after harvest.

Chairman of the affiliation, Mohammed Juli Adamu, stated WFAN obtained assurance from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and CBN, co-sponsors of the dry season farming initiative, that authorities won’t relent in selling agricultural manufacturing within the nation.
Adamu, whereas briefing newsmen in Bauchi, yesterday, on actions of the affiliation within the state, stated, given the decision between authorities and flour manufacturing firms within the nation in direction of provision of high quality wheat seeds, the federal government has no choice however to encourage farmers to develop wheat.
He stated: “With the acquisition of high quality wheat seeds, final 12 months, by CBN, and subsequent bumper wheat harvest by farmers in wheat-growing states, the federal government is admittedly inspired to help farmers in whichever manner potential, to reinforce the manufacturing of the commodity in a big scale.”
He described wheat farming as a really worthwhile enterprise price tens of millions of naira.
