demining actions carried out by the Azerbaijan Military’s
engineer-sapper items, one other mines buried by the Armenian facet on
the territory of the Kalbajar and Dashkasan districts have been

79 PMN-E anti-personnel mines and two TM-62M anti-tank mines in
the territory of the Kalbajar district and 53 PMN-E anti-personnel
mines and 4 OZM-72 anti-personnel fragmentation mines within the
territory of the Dashkasan district have been neutralized in compliance
with security laws.
“It must be famous that in line with Worldwide humanitarian
regulation, the 1997 Ottawa Conference prohibits the manufacturing,
stockpiling, switch, and use of anti-personnel mines. Regardless of
this, a major variety of Armenian-made mines are detected in
the liberated territories after Second Karabakh Conflict. Specifically,
anti-personnel mines, buried with the aim of inflicting human
casualties, pose a critical hazard to the lives of each civilians
and servicemen. The Azerbaijan Military’s engineer-sapper items
proceed actions on demining the Azerbaijani territories,” the
protection ministry said.
