BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Bloomington police say they’ve arrested a person with sufficient fentanyl capsules to kill a fifth of Minnesota’s inhabitants.
Police Chief Booker Hodges mentioned Thursday that the person had 108,000 capsules — weighing roughly 24 kilos.
Investigators discovered the capsules after a person used another person’s identification to pay for a lodge room. That man is in federal custody. WCCO-TV doesn’t sometimes title suspects till they’re formally charged.
Hodges says there have been six overdoses final yr in Bloomington. There have been 12 to date this yr.
