Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra commenced its 19-day lengthy Kerala leg Sunday morning from Parassala space of the capital metropolis. Rahul Gandhi began the yatra after being formally welcomed by Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president and MP Ok Sudhakaran, Chief of Opposition (LoP) within the state meeting V D Satheesan, and AICC basic secretary Tariq Anwar and different senior Congress leaders.
The opposite senior social gathering leaders who welcomed the previous social gathering chief included Congress MPs Ok C Venugopal and Shashi Tharoor in addition to former Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy and ex-LoP Ramesh Chennithala. An enormous crowd of supporters and onlookers gathered to welcome the Gandhi scion.

“Achieve freedom via training, acquire power via group, acquire prosperity via trade. Immediately, as we enter the attractive state of Kerala, on the auspicious event of Sree Narayana Guru Jayanti, his phrases encourage each step we tackle the #BharatJodoYatra,” Gandhi had tweeted because the yatra entered Kerala Saturday night.
After getting into Kerala from Parasala near the Tamil Nadu border, Gandhi would journey 450 km to Nilambur in Malappuram over a 19-day interval. The yatra will enter Kollam district on September 14.
It can attain Alappuzha on September 17 and move via Ernakulam district on September 21 and 22 and attain Thrissur on September 23. The Congress yatra will move via Palakkad on September 26 and 27 and enter Malappuram on September 28.
The yatra will cowl 12 states and two Union territories, and a distance of three,750 km from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu to Jammu and Kashmir over a interval of 150 days. There shall be mega rallies in 22 main cities.
