CHICAGO (CBS)– The return to highschool comes with CTA’s “First Day, Free Rides” program.
Kindergarten through12th graders can trip buses and trains totally free, together with an accompanying grownup.
Throughout the remainder of the varsity 12 months, college students can benefit from the CTA’s discounted fares of 75 cents between 5:30 a.m. and eight p.m. on faculty days.
And for the primary time ever, Metra and Tempo are becoming a member of the CTA with free again to highschool rides Monday. Kindergarten through12th graders within the metropolis and suburbs, together with an accompanying grownup, can trip totally free till 8 p.m.
College students can join lowered fare choices on each Metra and Tempo.
