Dallas police arrest man for capturing and killing his nephew

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Dallas police are investigating after a person died after being shot by his uncle in southeast Dallas on Friday evening.

Police stated that on Oct. 7, 2022 at about 5:00 p.m., officers responded to a capturing name within the 5900 block of Roseville Drive.

After they arrived, they discovered Kamal Alberty, 33, mendacity on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital by Dallas Fireplace-Rescue, however he didn’t survive his accidents.

Investigators decided that Kamal’s uncle, Delvin Alberty, 59, shot and killed him after they obtained right into a bodily struggle.

Delvin has been arrested and charged with homicide. He’s being held on the Dallas County Jail.
