Sydney — No less than 50 folks had been injured Monday by what officers described as a “sturdy motion” on a Chilean airplane touring from Sydney to Auckland, New Zealand.
LATAM Airways stated in an announcement that there was “a technical occasion through the flight which brought about a powerful motion.” It did not elaborate on what occurred.
Passengers had been met by paramedics when the flight touched down in Auckland.
About 50 folks had been handled on the scene for largely gentle accidents, with 13 taken to a hospital, an ambulance spokesperson stated.
One affected person was believed to be in critical situation.
The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner landed at Auckland Airport as scheduled and was to proceed to Santiago, Chile.
