The Ebonyi State Police Command has condemned the behaviour of a few of its officers caught on digicam in a viral social media video beating some males.
A press release on Sunday by the command’s appearing Public Relations Officer, DSP Joshua Ukandu, revealed that an investigation into the incident had begun and promised disciplinary motion in opposition to the officers discovered to be concerned.

Earlier on Sunday, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Power, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, had equally condemned a viral video that confirmed an officer of the Edo State Police Command assaulting a lady on the Ekpoma Divisional Police Headquarters.
Reacting to the video on X, Adejobi wrote, “I’ve mentioned it severally that policemen are usually not skilled to slap, use horse whip or keep on with flog individuals.
“Even when it’s obligatory to use minimal drive whereas on responsibility, the police have the required accoutrements and devices to make use of to use that minimal drive as described by our legislation.”
