European leaders condemned the shock assault on Israel by the Hamas militant group early Saturday and proclaimed Israel’s proper to defend itself.

Throughout Europe, messages of indignation poured in.
“Horrific pictures from Israel,” Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte stated, calling the Hamas assault an “unprecedented attack on Israel.”
“Israel has each proper to defend itself towards it,” Rutte added.
“Violence and rockets towards harmless individuals should cease instantly,” German International Minister Annalena Baerbock said. “Israel has our full solidarity and the best below worldwide regulation to defend itself towards terror.”
The French international ministry re-affirmed “its absolute rejection of terrorism and its dedication to Israel’s safety.”
Josep Borrell, the EU’s prime diplomat, echoed that sentiment. “This horrific violence should cease instantly. Terrorism and violence resolve nothing,” he stated in an announcement.
U.Okay. International Secretary James Cleverly stated Britain “unequivocally condemns the horrific assaults by Hamas on Israeli civilians.”
