The Council of the European Union (EU) on Monday issued
sanctions towards 11 people and 4 entities in Iran over
their function within the loss of life of Mahsa Amini, Development studies citing

protests throughout Iran, killing scores of individuals.

The record now includes 97 people and eight entities, the

member states’ international affairs ministers.
