The FCT Administration has arrested 480 suspected criminals from uncompleted buildings and undeveloped plots of land in Maitama and Wuse II areas.
Commander answerable for the duty power, Mr Bennett Igweh, mentioned the suspects, majority males, had turned inexperienced areas, undeveloped plots of land, and unoccupied homes into their haven for crime.
He added that the duty power recovered police uniforms, cell phones, a loaded pistol, machetes and charms from the suspects.
Igweh mentioned they suspected that a few of them may be escapees from Kuje custodial middle, including that they might be profiled to know their identities.
