The Federal Authorities has prolonged the general public vacation for the Eid-El-Fitr celebration to Thursday, thereby declaring one further day as work free day.
This disclosure is contained in a press assertion issued by the Everlasting Secretary, Federal Ministry of Inside, Dr Aishetu Gogo Ndayako, on Tuesday morning, April 9, 2024.
This will not be unconnected with the current assertion by the Sultan of Sokoto and the President Normal, Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Muhammad Sa’advert Abubakar, declaring Wednesday, April 10, because the day for Eid-Fitri.
Based on the assertion, the Minister of Inside, Dr Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, who congratulated the Muslim Ummah for a profitable completion of a month of non secular rejuvenation, reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s (GCFR) agency dedication to offering a protected and affluent Nigeria for all to thrive.

- ‘’The Federal Authorities has permitted Thursday eleventh April, 2024 as an extra public vacation to rejoice this 12 months’s Eid -El-Fitr.
- ‘’The Honourable Minister of Inside, Dr Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, whereas congratulating the muslim Ummah for a profitable completion of a month of non secular rejuvenation, reiterates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s (GCFR) agency dedication to offering a protected and affluent Nigeria for all to thrive.’’
