In a bid to curb rising banditry in Katsina State, the Federal Authorities has launched N6.25 billion for the institution of cattle ranches in native authorities areas affected by banditry within the state.
This was disclosed by Alhaji Mannir Yakubu, the Deputy Governor of the state on Monday, in accordance with the Information Company of Nigeria.

He added that the native authorities areas the place grazing reserves can be established are Jibia, Batsari, Dutsinma, Safana, Danmusa, Kankara, Faskari and Sabuwa Dandume, citing that a part of the funds will likely be used to assemble faculties, well being centres and veterinary clinics within the affected communities.
