A Lagos State Magistrates’ Court docket sitting in Yaba has ordered the remand of 5 individuals who have been allegedly concerned in kidnapping, homicide and armed theft within the state.
The defendants embody Lateef Kazeem, Eric Adetola, Sanusi Momoh, Samuel Anuoluwapo and Adamson Olayinka.
It was gathered that the defendants have been arrested by males of the State Prison Investigation Division for kidnapping, killing one individual, Emmanuel Ezeike, at Abule Ado in January, and defrauding him of N2m in addition to robbing different victims.
The defendants have been arraigned earlier than Justice of the Peace P. E. Nwaka on 9 counts bothering on conspiracy, armed rob¬bery, homicide and kidnapping.
The prosecutor, Thomas Nurudeen, informed the court docket that the defendants dedicated the offence in January and February 2023, respectively, on the Ojo and Abule Ado areas of the state.
