The Ministry of Roads and Highways has introduced that site visitors stream can be disrupted on the flowerpot roundabout from June 13 till October 31, 2023.
A press release by the Ministry on Monday indicated that the disruption is as a result of development of a flyover over the Motorway.
It acknowledged that routes to be affected embrace Spintex Highway (East and West Sure), Burma Camp Highway from Giffard Highway, and the Martey Tsuru Highway (East and West Sure)
The Ministry urged Motorists to obey site visitors administration and diversion indicators posted at chosen sections of the mission affect zones or to decide on alternate routes to permit free circulation of site visitors by way of the development zone.
In line with the assertion, the alternate routes are as follows;
Motorists travelling from Spintex Highway to the Motorway can use the Achimota-Ofankor Highway or the Airport-Tema Motorway.
Motorists travelling from Burma Camp Highway to the Motorway can use the 37 Navy Hospital Highway or the Ngleshie Amanfro Highway.
Motorists travelling from Martey Tsuru Highway to the Motorway can use the Teshie-Nungua Highway or the Nungua Seashore Highway.
The Ministry of Roads and Highways has assured the general public that the flyover can be completed in October 2023 to alleviate site visitors congestion on the flowerpot roundabout.
