Gunmen have ambushed and killed two police operatives in Imo State, South-east Nigeria.
The police spokesperson within the state, Henry Okoye, disclosed this in a press release on Saturday.
Mr Okoye, an assistant superintendent of police, stated the hoodlums attacked some operatives whereas they had been on patrol obligation within the early hours of Saturday, killing two of them on the spot.
