The Ondo State Police Command on Wednesday stated it had commenced investigation into the alleged assault on a hospital by some hoodlums in Ondo city.
The hoodlums attacked the hospital, Ileri Oluwa Home of Hope Hospital, on Sunday, carting away gear price thousands and thousands of naira.
The founding father of the hospital, Mr Hakeem Oyeneyin, described the incident as disheartening.
He defined that the thieves entered by the hospital roof and window.
Oyeneyin emphasised that the hospital can be shut down pending the time the neighborhood would assure the protection of lives and property.
He apologised to sufferers for the inconvenience the event would possibly trigger, including that the incident had been reported to the police and investigation was ongoing.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, stated the command had commenced investigation into the incident.
“It was a case of housebreaking and we now have commenced investigation into it,” the PPRO said.
