The Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) has declared Ireti Kingibe of the Labour Occasion (LP) because the winner of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Senate seat.
INEC Returning Officer, Sanni Saka, introduced the consequence on Tuesday in Abuja.
Mr Saka, a professor, stated that Ireti scored 202,175 votes to emerge the winner, including that Philip Aduda of the Peoples Democratic Occasion (PDP) got here second with 100,544 votes.
Angulu Dobi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) positioned third with 78,905 votes.
“I, Prof. Sanni Saka, thereby certify that I’m the Returning Officer for the 2023 FCT Senatorial district election held on Feb. 25.
