A Nigerian Air Pressure (NAF) FT-7NI coach plane has crashed in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
In line with media experiences, the unlucky incident occurred on Friday night, throughout a routine coaching train.
The incident was confirmed by the NAF Director of Public Relations and Data, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, who in an announcement on Friday stated 2 pilots onboard the plane survived and had been being noticed in a army facility.
No lack of lives, injury to property
- He stated, “Fortunately, the 2 pilots on board survived the crash after efficiently ejecting from the plane. Moreover, there was no lack of lives or injury to any property across the space of influence.
- “Each pilots are at the moment below statement at NAF Base Hospital, Makurdi. In the meantime, the Chief of Air Workers, Air Vice Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has constituted a Board of Inquiry to find out the fast and distant causes of the crash.’’
