Nairobi — A search and rescue operation was underway Wednesday for vacationers stranded by floodwaters in over 14 vacationer camps in Talek, Narok County.
The Talek River overflowed because of days of heavy rainfall, locals stated.
Joint efforts by the Nationwide and County Authorities of Narok, the Mara Elephant Undertaking, and locals led to the evacuation of 61 folks.
Amongst them, 36 have been airlifted to security, whereas 25 have been rescued by an aqua staff.
