Kidnappers abduct college students travelling for Christmas in Ondo

4 college students have been reported kidnapped at In the past Jinadu, alongside Akinnu-Ajowa Street in Akoko space of Ondo State.

The scholars of the Kogi State Polytechnic have been returning house for the Christmas vacation.

The realm has just lately assumed a notoriety for prison actions, particularly kidnapping.

It was gathered that the event has introduced sorrow to the Ajowa group as dad and mom of the victims cried for assist in rescuing their youngsters.

Confirming the incident, the Police Ikare Space Commander, Muri Agboola, mentioned officers have been combing the forests alongside Akunnu-Ajowa Akoko highway searching for the kidnapped college students.

He assured that no effort could be spared in rescuing the victims.

The incident occurred barely a month after the monarch of Ajowa-Akoko, Clement Olukotun, was kidnapped.

He was launched after about N10 million was paid to the kidnapers.

In the meantime, the police mentioned they’ve arrested a mechanic in reference to the kidnapping of 1 Augustine Okoye, who died in kidnappers den final week in Ikare Akoko.

Mr Okoye was reportedly tortured to loss of life and his physique deserted after the abductors collected a ransom.

The deceased’s spouse, Bolaji Okoye, had instructed the police that her husband’s mechanic merely referred to as Segun was sighted within the bush whereas they have been being held hostage.

The police space commander mentioned Mr Segun has been moved to Police Headquarters in Akure for additional interrogations.
