Silk Membership in Ikoyi has been sealed off by the Lagos State Atmosphere Safety Company (LASEPA) as a result of allegations of noise air pollution.
LASEPA carried out a nighttime enforcement operation on Saturday, resulting in the closure and sealing of the membership, as revealed in a press release printed by the company on X.

In a subsequent assertion, Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab emphasised the rationale behind the membership’s closure, citing noise air pollution considerations as the first issue. The operation was carried out by his directive.
