Males of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 41-year-old man, Tolulope Olowu, for allegedly stabbing his 33-year-old neighbour merely recognized as Pablo to loss of life.
Olowu and Pablo, each residents of First Unity Property, the Badore space of Ajah, Lagos State reportedly had an altercation on a parking house on their avenue.
The misunderstanding, regardless of efforts by co-residents to settle it, degenerated right into a fisticuff throughout which Olowu reportedly stabbed Pablo to loss of life.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident to the Information Company of Nigeria on Sunday.
Hundeyin stated the incident occurred on Saturday round 10pm at First Unity Property, within the Badore space of Ajah.
He stated the case was reported to the Langbasa Police Division on Sunday at about 2am.
The police spokesman the suspect and the deceased are each residents of Gbadamosi Road within the property.
He added, “That they had a misunderstanding over parking of a car on the road.
“Within the course of, Olowu allegedly stabbed Pablo with a knife within the abdomen and he died on the spot.
“Primarily based on the report, a crew of detectives from the Langbasa Police Division visited and photographed the scene.
“The corpse has been evacuated and deposited on the morgue of the Infectious Illnesses Hospital, Yaba for post-mortem.”
Hundeyin stated the suspect has been arrested with the exhibit of crime, whereas an investigation was in progress.
