The Police Command in Lagos State says its operatives have arrested three suspected cultists within the Ishashi space of the state.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this to the Information Company of Nigeria on Sunday.
The Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Mr Adegoke Fayoade, had promised to rid the state of criminals.
Hundeyin stated that the three suspects had been arrested on Saturday at about 6:30 am by the police.
“The police obtained info that some boys had been seen in army uniform disturbing the peace of the Oke-Odan neighborhood in Ishashi,” he stated.
He defined that operatives from the Ishashi division had been “shortly drafted” to the neighborhood and arrested the suspects aged between 24 and 39.
Hundeyin stated that an investigation has begun and the suspects will quickly be charged in courtroom.
