The Lagos State authorities has sealed a preferred nightclub, Silk Membership, positioned at 190, Awolowo Street in Ikoyi, over noise air pollution.
This was disclosed in assertion on Saturday evening by Commissioner for Atmosphere and Water Assets, Tokunbo Wahab.
The commissioner stated the nightclub was sealed by the officers of the Lagos State Environmental Safety Company who on his orders, performed a nighttime enforcement operation within the space.
“As I directed, the Lagos State Environmental Safety Company @LasepaOfficial performed a nighttime enforcement operation, resulting in the closure and sealing of Silk Membership at 190, Awolowo Street, Ikoyi because of noise air pollution,” he disclosed this on X (previously Twitter).
