MAGA Leadership Conference Edo ’24: Legacy Africa Sets to Revitalize Youths’ Leadership Capacity

The Legacy Africa led by the Founder Oyoma Ojadonor, is set to organize a 2-day MAGA Leadership Conference Edo’24 tagged “That Africa may be well: Strategically Repositioning Young Change Agents for Disruptive and Transformational Leadership,” which aims at bringing together the most innovative thinkers, policymakers, stakeholders and passionate individuals to chart a new course for Africa’s development from Edo state.
According to the founder of Legacy Africa, Oyoma Ojadonor, “The acronym ‘MAGA’ stands for “Make Africa Great Again.” The conference aims to build Youths’ Leadership capacity, reawakening hopes, electoral Inspire positive actions, empower young change agents, foster collaboration, and electoral education, and adjustment of cultural and attitudinal flaws among young people. It will create room for networking opportunities and collaborations among young leaders, fostering a
culture of collective impact and solidarity.”
He further stated that the motivation behind the programme are the national unrest, crisis in governance, misalignment of young people’s hearts from national development, threat of life from insecurity crisis, and
failed electoral promises in Nigeria and the African continent. He equally let loosed his readiness to impact positively in ensuring that the youths are given the best leadership educational skills, which will in turn contribute to the struggle to restore Africa to normalcy.
“Many Nigerian youths only hustle just to survive, many are resolved never to go into the
electoral polls again, so many are locked in the cobwebs of pain, pressure and poverty, but we are optimistic that the conference will restore hope, inspire change and positive actions, as well as create room for
revaluation of youth political apathy decisions and adjustment of cultural and attitudinal flaws.
The conference will Inspire attendees to take proactive steps towards addressing pressing socioeconomic
and political challenges facing Edo and Africa as a whole.

The 2-day programmes will be held from 28th to 29th June 2024 at Rickrex Event City, 15 Aguobadia Avenue, off Etete, Adesuwa Road, Benin City Edo State, which will be hosting the presence of the Governor of Edo, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, David O. Lawal, Coordinator-Ibadan Reformed Fellowship, Vanessa Kelechi, Finance Lawyer, Rev. Olu Martins, Speaker and Human Right Activist, Mrs. Isimeme Whyte, CIO Genius Hub Global, Dr. Christos Suome Etoka, Chancellor of Xrislid University, and other top-ranking figures in Nigeria as Guest Speakers.
