CHICAGO (CBS) — The Mega Tens of millions winner has come ahead, virtually eight weeks after the historic drawing.
Illinois Lottery officers confirmed the $1.3 billion shall be cut up between two individuals who agreed to share the prize if gained.
“The winners want to stay nameless, and the Illinois Lottery is unable to share any details about the winners besides to say that they have to be completely “over the moon” with their Mega Tens of millions win,” Illinois Lottery officers stated.
As CBS 2 reported, somebody purchased a successful Mega Tens of millions ticket value $1.3 billion at a Des Plaines fuel station. The ticket remained unclaimed till Wednesday.
The prize is the third largest lottery win in U.S. historical past.
