Nigerian singer Abdulazeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, and his affiliate, Samson Eletu, popularly known as Sam Larry, have filed a swimsuit in opposition to the police and a Lagos Justice of the Peace, Adeola Olatunbosun.

“On the 4th day of October 2023, the Commissioner of Police sought an order within the Magistrates’ Court docket, held at Yaba, to remand them for 30 days,” the swimsuit reads.
“Chief Justice of the Peace Adeola Olatunbosun granted the police utility to remand them for less than 21 days within the police custody.”
The deponents argued that the 21-day remand order granted by Chief Justice of the Peace Olatunbosun expired on Thursday, October 26, and has not been renewed.
