The Jigawa Pilgrims Welfare Board mentioned no fewer than 1,200 intending pilgrims within the state have made full cost of the N4.69 million fare for the 2024 Hajj.
The board’s Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Murtala Usman, made this identified to the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Wednesday.
Usman mentioned the board was allotted a complete of 1,518 slots by the Nationwide Hajj Fee of Nigeria (NAHCON) for the 2024 Hajj, out of which 1,200 intending pilgrims made full cost.
In line with him, the board is making efforts to make sure seamless train by enhancing on its earlier operations.
Usman added that the orientation programme for the intending pilgrims had commenced to organize them for the correct conduct of the Hajj train in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
“The coaching focuses on obligations, tenets and cardinal rules of the Hajj, thereby giving the intending pilgrims the chance to know correct and acceptable Hajj rites.
“The intending pilgrims are due to this fact suggested to endeavor to attend the coaching in view of its significance,” Usman mentioned. (NAN)
