Ogun Authorities has declared Tuesday, Jan. 24 and Wednesday, Jan. 25 as work-free days for employees within the state public service.
That is contained in a press release issued by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Kunle Somorin, on Sunday in Abeokuta.
Somorin mentioned that the work-free days had been declared, following the extension of everlasting voter playing cards’ assortment until Jan. 29 by Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC).
“Gov. Dapo Abiodun has graciously permitted Tuesday, twenty fourth and Wednesday, twenty fifth January as work-free days to allow public servants gather their PVCs from their respective native governments.
“The governor enjoined government members of public markets and personal institutions to permit flexibility of their schedules, for residents to make use of the chance to go to INEC places of work or assortment centres the place they registered to gather their PVCs,” he mentioned.
In response to him, since voting is a civic accountability, all eligible residents have to be allowed to train their rights to decide on who governs them.
