A 30-year-old man, Wasiu Mahammed, was on Wednesday arraigned in an Ota Magistrates’ Courtroom in Ogun State for allegedly breaking right into a workshop and stealing a block molder valued at N45,000.
The police cost the defendant of no mounted tackle with housebreaking and stealing.
The Police Prosecution, Insp. E.O. Adaraloye, informed the courtroom that the defendant dedicated the offences on April 25, at about 8.30pm at Elejigbo Obasanjo, Ota.
He stated that the defendant broke into the workshop of the complainant and stole a block molder valued at N45,000.
The prosecutor stated that the offences contravened Sections 390(9) and 411 of the Felony Code, Legal guidelines of Ogun, 2006.
The defendant, nevertheless, pleaded not responsible to the cost.
Justice of the Peace A.O. Adeyemi granted bail to the defendant within the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
Adeyemi ordered that the surety should reside inside the courtroom’s jurisdiction and be gainfully employed with proof of tax cost to Ogun State authorities.
