Labour Social gathering (LP) Home of Representatives candidate, Ginger Onwusibe, has been declared winner of Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency of Abia State.
Onwusibe defeated his principal challenger and the candidate of Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP), Prof. Anthony Agbazuere. Onwusibe was a former PDP member of Abia Home of Meeting.
He scored 20,411 votes to emerge victorious within the Home of Representatives election and, thus, is the primary member of Labour Social gathering to be formally declared winner of a Nationwide Meeting seat in Saturday’s election. His PDP opponent, who was the Chief of Employees to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, polled 13,508 votes.
The Labour Social gathering candidate defeated Agbazuere even in his Isiala Ngwa South Council. Onwusibe had left the PDP, following controversies, which trailed the celebration main to hitch Labour Social gathering.
