Gov. Gboyega Oyetola of Osun has launched N1.1 billion for the cost of pensions of retired civil servants within the state.
A press release by the Head of Service, Dr Festus Olowogboyega, on Monday in Osogbo, mentioned that N 600 million of the cash can be for the cost of retired main faculty lecturers and native authorities staff.
Olowogboyega mentioned that the remaining N500 million was authorized for the cost of civil servants below the contributory pension.
He mentioned the chosen retirees would get their bonds on June 2.
Olowogboyega additionally mentioned that the listing of beneficiaries had been pasted on the discover board of the Ministry of Data and Civic Orientation, the State’s Pension Bureau and the Workplace of the Head of Service.
He mentioned Gov. Gboyega Oyetola was dedicated to the welfare of each the retired and energetic civil servants within the state and would proceed to make their welfare his precedence.
