Singapore-based fuel shipowner and dealer Petredec has established a UK handysize LPG service subsidiary, Fortitude Transport.
The London-headquartered unit will management an 11-strong fleet between 21,000 cu m and 22,500 cu m with a median age of 4 years, comprising eight trendy ethane/ethylene-capable vessels, two semi-refrigerated vessels and one absolutely refrigerated ship.
Fortitude will function independently and deal with transporting ethane, olefins and ammonia along with Petredec’s core LPG commerce.
“The vast majority of the Petredec Group’s verticals have every achieved a stage of scale that now warrants operation as standalone enterprise items to higher deal with efficiency and development,” remarked Petredec Group CEO Giles Fearn, including that the enterprise contains the second largest and youngest ethane/ethylene succesful fleet within the sector.
