The Police Command in Lagos State says it arrested 4 males for allegedly stealing three tricycles from an Ojota, Lagos-based Mobility Firm.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos State, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest to the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Saturday.
The spokesperson stated that the Secretary of the mobility firm reported the theft on Tuesday to the Ogudu Police Division at about 10.00 a.m.
Hundeyin stated that the corporate’s secretary reported that on Tuesday at about 7.00 a.m., he obtained a tip-off that three of the corporate’s tricycles have been stolen by unknown individuals.
In response to him, appearing on the report, a workforce of detectives from the division swung into motion and tracked the tricycles to totally different places, resulting in the arrest of 4 suspects (names withheld).
“First suspect was arrested at Ondo City in Ondo State with the primary tricycle and second suspect was arrested at Mile 12 in Lagos State with the second tricycle.
“The third and fourth suspects have been arrested at Idiroko, a boundary city between Lagos State and Ogun with the third tricycle.
“The suspects shall be arraigned after completion of investigation,” he stated.
